Nashville Groove Lacrosse

Nashville Groove is competitive travel lacrosse program for boys in the Middle Tennessee area. This is will be our 5th season of operation and we will be fielding teams for 4 different age groups. We will compete against teams from across the country. This serves not only as a barometer of individual skill, but also a testament to the health of the game here in Middle Tennessee. We will have teams for U13, U15, and High School Elite age groups.

At the U13 and U15 age groups we focus on high level fundamentals and getting the boys ready for the “next level”; this is accomplished through hard work and a next grounder mentality. We ask a lot from every player at practice, and ask that they come each day ready to work hard. These practices are designed to compress a 2 hour practice into 90 minutes, while preparing the boys for long days in the summer heat. In my opinion it is not about winning, it is about playing with and against really good players to enhance all levels of the player’s game.

The High School Elite team is designed for players that want to be recruited.  We go to tournaments that are full of College Coaches.  We try to go to smaller tournaments to maximize exposure for each player.  One of the most important parts of the program that we focus on is how to go about be recruited.  We sit down with players and their families and talk about what school is the best fit for the player.  We have a HS coaching staff that all played College Lacrosse and have gone through the recruiting process.
